    The Pitmen won the cup (the first time since 1936) when they beat Stourbridge by a 2-0 at Burton Albion`s ground.

    Boston United won this game at Keys Park Stadium in front of an attendance of 520.
    9th Apr 2009Boldmere St Michaels Youth team vs Hednesford Town Youth team. New
    The young Pitmen won 5-1 at Church Road. The floodlights are not that bright but these images were captured on a Nikon D40.

    The Pitmen slipped to a 3-1 at Keys Park Stadium. The attendance was 434.

    Football icon Tommy Doherty was at Hednesford Town Football Club (Thursday) to give an after dinner speech. The former player who also manager Aston Villa, Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers-to name a few-gave a humorous recollection of his football career.

    The Unibond Premier Division game was played at Keys Park Stadium between the teams. The final result was 2-2. Attendance 1,077. See both Hednesford goals on `You Tube`

    11th Nov 2008Walsall Youth Team vs Hednesford Youth team
    This game in the 1st Round of the F.A. Youth Cup was played at Bescot Stadium. The Walsall team fell behind to the young `Pitmen` who took the lead twice in the game but the Saddlers eventually ran out winners by a 5-3 scoreline.
